monitor idex usage in SQL Server 2005

I want to know what indexes are being used when a log running program runs for 2 hours

Is there a way to monitor the database when it it running to determine this , either by tools or monitor commands or anyother method

absolutely..dynamic managment views have that info

sys.dm_db_index_usage_stats

sys.dm_db_index_operational_stats
