How do I find Thunderbird Contact file so I can import my e-mail addresses to Facebook, LinkIn, etc.

I think I just need to know the file name structure so I can search on it? I am on a PC using Windows XP and have made likely folder location unhidden: C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application

but file of e-mail contacts is not obvious to me in that folder.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hello dagazheart,

Thunderbird lets you export your Address Book as LDIF file (for LDAP directory), Comma-separated values (CSV) file, or tab-delimited file (TAB/TXT).

To export your Address Book, go to Tools > Export (from the Address Book window), and select your preferred export format.  Then you can import the file to your other application.

Hope this helps!
