Some users with blackberries are receiving double message on their unit

We have a BES server and do not use any external bis accounts.  BES is collaberating with exchange 2003.  Some (not all) messages are duplicated on the device only.  Outlook inbox is normal showing just one message.  We find the duplication happens approximately 3 minutes after the original message arrives on the unit.  I checked forwarding rules and everything seems fine.  We use BES v4.0.

This is approximately 2 years after activation and the user started experiencing the issue recently.  I am wondering if it isn't an issue with the recent security patch M$ marked as urgent two months ago.  The problem seemed to start around then.

If you mean Patch 958644.  I installed this patch on all the BB-server and until now there is no problem.
