How to creat a view column showing Field values

I am trying to do something really simple: I need a CSV of Internet address from global address book. I created a new view based on People, then hit Save and Customise. I would like to add a column for InternetAddress, so I create a new column. How do I associate a column with a field?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You should have a programmers pane under the view like in my screenshot.

Are you in Domino Designer?  You can open the Programmers pane by dragging the section up from the bottom.  That is where you link the Coloumn with the field as showin in my screenshot.

From the looks of things you are not in the Domino Designer.  You will need to open the database in Domino Designer by right-clicking the database and selecting "Open in Designer" provided you have the Designer loaded and that you have Designer or Manager  access in the ACL.

Cheers

All it took was to know about the Programmers pane! It works from Notes, Domino admin or Designer FYI. Thanks again, I would never have guessed how to find that pane (or that it existed!)
