I need SAP BASIS 4.7 Full Installation Instructions with Full Hardware and Other Software Requirements. Is Windows Vista fine or do I need Win 2003 Server ? Also advise if Oracle is a must to be installed with this installation. If so, please advise the above requirements with Win 2003 Server and Oracle orWin 2003 Serbver without Oracle.<br />

Oracle is an object-relational database management system. It supports a large number of languages and application development frameworks. Its primary languages are SQL, PL/SQL and Java, but it also includes support for C and C++. Oracle also has its own enterprise modules and application server software.

Oracle Database

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter. It also had derivative versions for clusters, storage and Microsoft’s Small Business Server. Important upgrades included integrating Internet Information Services (IIS), improvements to Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GP), and the migration to Automated System Recovery (ASR).
