Uninstallation in Installscript 11

I am using installshield 11 to create an installation for my software. I have noticed that when i try to uninstall this program , all the files copied during the installtion are not deleted. Even the shortcut i created does not get deleted.
I am using a Basic MSI project and i have written an Installscript for the modification of the files. Is there a function that i can add in this installscript that runs only when i invoke an uninstallation that deletes all the files? If yes, then what is it that i have to do?

Without knowing the details, installer will work best if you limit to the minimum any custom actions and any special efforts to modify the default behavior, including of course Installscript. Most likely that modification of the files is exactly the reason.

ok agreed...but in case there is a requirement to modify files , then can i include some function or custom action that deletes the installed files on uninstallation?

see articles "File Versioning Rules" and "RemoveFile Table" in Installer SDK.
