restore a folder in user's mailbox in outlook 2007

I need to restore a deleted folder in a user's mailbox in Outlook 2007.  We are running Exchange 2007.  The folder has been permanently deleted in the user's Outlook.

Thanks.

Cheryl.

How long ago has it been deleted? If you highlight the Inbox in Outlook, go to Tools > Recover Deleted Items...does it show?

It was deleted a couple of days ago.  It does not show in Recover Deleted Items...The user "purged" it...

You would need to restore from a backup. If unfamiliar with the Recovery Storage Group for Ex2007:

http://www.petri.co.il/using_rsg_in_exchange_2007.htm

Once restored, you would need to use the Exchange Management Shell Export Mailbox cmdlet to retrieve.

Have you had any luck restoring the mailbox?

I need to restore the backup from a snapshopt.  Once that is done, I then will follow the Recovery Storage procedures for Exchange 2007
