IRT bot found on MAC OS-X Leopard port 6667

I have a client who is running Mac OS-X Leopard and he has come down with with IRC bot automatically trying to join "Assault" chatrooms.  The port that the IRC bot is running on is port 6667.  Possibly the the IRC login was called "Darwin or some variation of it.  Could you advise on how to remove it?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

See if you can find it in the \applications folder or in the \applications\utilities folder.

Also pull down the Apple Menu to system preferences and go to the Accounts preference pane. Check for any log on items in the User's account and delete any that might be this bot.

There is also a shareware utility called "Little Snitch" that might help:  http://www.obdev.at/products/littlesnitch/index.html
