server problem

I'm having an issue with my dedicated server suddenly. It worked yesterday and nobody touched.

Please see it here :

Any idea what happened?
I've restarted the server but no luck .

Waiting your thoughts.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

What else can you tell us about the server?  Windows, Linux, etc....
If it is Windows, have updates recently installed and rebooted the machine?
Are all of the services started?  Specifically the WWW publishing, IPsec, and other network related services?
If it is IPSec I have fixed that before.

Can the server get out to the internet?
It seems to be responding to PING requests so it is "online" in at least one sense.

What OS is this running? Do you have physical access to the server?

Is it being managed / provided by a hosting company?
The weird thing is the plesk favicon is being loaded....

We’d all like to think our company’s data is well protected, but when you ask IT professionals they admit the data probably is not as safe as it could be.

>>>Did your domain registration expire?

Of course not...
It's loading plesk, your server is misconfigured.

Did you mess with the firewall or anything, could you have blocked the plesk administrator port?
You have a good backup, correct?
">>>Did your domain registration expire?"
"Of course not..."

No offense meant there, you gotta look at the simple things first.

Who is your site hosted through? Is it Plesk?
Who hosts your DNS records?
Is the correct IP address for your site?
Do you know if there are any other sites hosted on this machine?

The more info we can gather about the hardware, software, and network equipment the better.
