automatically run Acces update query every hour

hi, I need to run an update query automatically, every hour. The  query will poll my ERP  database.I need  need the solution to address the issue that when I run the query, I am prompted to enter my username and password and that the Accces query prompts me to click "OK" when I run the update query.  I am very familiar with Access, but I dont know VB.  please advise

What type of ERP database? What type of username and password, Access security, SQL Server, etc?
