Running MS FTP 7 as MS FTP 6 compitability mode without uninstalling MS FTP 7 and installing MS FTP 6

I am wondering if it is possible to run MS FTP 7 as MS FTP 6 compitability mode without uninstalling MS FTP 7 and installing MS FTP 6?

    No, this is not possible.

    Once FTP7 is installed you cannot run FTP6 without uninstalling FTP7.

    And there is no backward compatibility mode ?

    What feature in FTP6 are you not able to find in FTP7?

    The new version of FTP was rewritten from the ground up and there is no 'compatibility' mode code in it.  It should have all the features that were available in FTP6 though (there may be a few differences though - I'm not 100% positive).
