Thank you very much! &nbsp;The LDP section of the article didn't work for me; I think perhaps it was written for the Windows 2000 version of the tool.. however ADUC did the trick and the stores are gone. &nbsp;I really appreciate the help.

I had a relatively small information store which was hosting a handful of mailboxes. &nbsp;This store did not host the system attendant mailbox. &nbsp;I moved all user mailboxes out of the store, at which time 2 mailbox objects remained, both of which could not be selected for a &quot;move&quot; within Exchange System Manager. &nbsp;When I then dismounted the store and attempted to perform a delete, &nbsp;I received a message saying there were user mailboxes connected with the store which still needed to be moved. &nbsp;WIthout thinking, I went ahead and deleted the .edb and .stm files from disk. &nbsp;Now I am still unable to delete the store from System Manager and also am unable to back up the storage group with other running stores, as Backup Exec seems upset about the dismounted store. &nbsp;I am hoping someone can assist me with getting this store out of my storage group once and for all. &nbsp;Thank you very much in advance.

The term "Backup" means the methods and processes involved to copy computer data (system data as well as application data) to media other than the ones where the data originally live (disk, tape, optical, cloud).
