Great Plains, Exporting to Excel

Hi,
I'd like to know how I can export a field from Great Plains into Excel without getting the return character.
Each time we select a field in GP, copy and paste into Excel, we get the value + the return character.

Thanks

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Cassavatech,
Perhaps it might be easiest to edit the data with a macro - so removing the CR character.

Can you explain a bit more about what you are doing? If this is something you are doing over and over, there are other ways to transfer data to Excel from GP, eg GP's own extracton s/w Smartlists.
