Creating Mass User Accounts W/O AD

Hi All,

I have a windows server 2008 VPS that will be used for a standalone application that is living in a hosting site

We would like to generate several hundred accounts on the box w/o setting up a domain and AD. It seems like overkill for what we want to do.

I'm mostly a Unix/Linux admin. If I am missing something please let me know.

How do you do this?

    Hey Mike,

There's a repository of scripts over at which I particularly like for scripting local users and groups. Take a look and let me know - I've not yet tried them on a Server 2008 machine, but I see no reason why they wouldn't work.
