What and how  would be the response time from Microsoft for fault call.

dear experts,
One of our production box seems effected with virus. Can Microsoft will help us resolving this kind of issue?
What would be the case the same with Symantec ant virus software company?

    I've never called Microsoft for assistance regarding this, but I would imagine they'll just pass the buck and charge you anyways.

    Symantec would be more likely to help, but most of the time they're useless.  What virus do you have?

    Microsoft does have a Virus and Security support phone number. It is 1-866-727-2338.

    I have never called them for this. I have talked to other various departments before and they tend to have good support.
