how to create a back up of my hard drive

I would like to make a back  up of my hard drive just like dell and other companys make?  Just in case if there is a crash or virus I can't get rid of I can reinstall from the hard drive itself?

Download BartPE:
http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/#download

It is a bootable Live CD that has Ghost included in it.
Simply have a spare internal or external HDD, a network storage location etc to store the image on.

Unless you have a second drive you won't be able to burn to CD/DVD.

If you have the drive partitioned you can do a partition backup using the one HDD.
Backup partition 1 on partition 2. It isn't ideal but it should work.
Drive Backup 9.0 Personal can backup into ISO images. Later with ISO burning SW you can burn these images to DVD or CD drives. The amazing thing is that the burnt drives are all bootable.
Okay Drive Backup doesn't download.  Second I will drive to back up Partittion 1 on Partition 2.
What do you mean by "doesn't download"? Weren't you able to download and install trial or free version?
The sever must have been down when I first try to download it.  But the next day it work just fine.  Nice program it allowed me to make a back up and a back up disk to restore everthing.  Is there a program that allows me to do the same thing without need to use the back up disk Noxcho.
Drive Backup 9.0 restores from images located on local drives without use of Recovery CD (backup CD).
Or you can create Boot USB stick with Recovery Media Builder and use it as boot media to restore from images located on Network and local drives.
The simplest scenario is creating Backup Capsule on the same HDD (at the end of drive) with Drive Backup 9.0 and set it bootable (bind it to F button) and get the choice at every start of PC. Create backup image to this secure place and when needed press F button to run restore to the normal state of PC.
Anyway, Paragon Support will explain you this procedure better way. Those guys are really quick to call you back.
