enabling mbstring and mysql in php.ini in windows server 2003

HI all,
            I installed php,mysql and apache.
I want to enable mbstring and mysql .
I deleted all the semicolons in front of them even them cant enable them.
actually there is two things in php one is php.ini-dist
and other is php.ini-recommented
i worked with both of them but cant get the result.
I even copied them to c:\windows\php.ini
but result is zero.
any help will be apprreciated

    Accepted Solution

    libmysql.dll from php directory and overwrite the libmysql.dll in windows/system32. Once done restart the IIS server
