Terminal Server : Redirect global config file

I have an application that was not build to run in a Terminal Server environment.  That application has a config file in c:\my_application\config.ini.   The config file is shared to all users but should not. Each user should have his own config.ini file in his own profile.  Is it possible to redirect the file system calls to c:\my_application\config.ini to another location (in each user own profile) without a third-party software ?  Otherwise, which third-party software could be used ?

If the AIE in Citrix could be used, how to do it ?

I have terminal servers with Citrix XenApp 4.5 enterprise edition.

AIE might be the answer, but it is not a simple answer.  Brian Maddens site has a great page on this.

other than that i would look to the application to move the config to the users profile if this is possible.
