Vista - Remote Desktop has stopped working (after credentials entered)

I had previously fixed this issue by editing a registry entry, but I have no notes from the fix.

I can open remote desktop and reach the server.
The credentials window appears on the screen.
I enter credentials, and it begins the login process.
THEN, the error window appears and reads:
"Remote Desktop Connection has stopped working.
A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

Needless to say, I have yet to receive an email from Bill Gates.

Please to be helping?  Thanks

I have seen this problem with vista, are you trying to play sounds from the remote computer?  If so try to disable this as this will sometimes cause this error.

Yes, the windows logon sound usually plays after authentication.  Does the sound adjustment need to be made on my PC (client) or the server?

Nevermind, I found it.  That worked!
