I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Why would you want to go down to the registry level to disable the filter?  You can disable it by going to Tools -> Options -> Junk E-Mail Button -> Select the "No Automatic Filtering" radio button.  I've been trying to look up the registry entry just in case that's really what you need but this should do it for you without the risk of playing with the registry.

Thanks.

Still haven't been able to find the reg key but this might work:

"To disable junk filtering In Exchange System Manager

Expand Servers > YOUR_SERVER > Protocols > SMTP and select the Properties for the Default SMTP Virtual Server.

On the General tab of the Default SMTP Virtual Server Properties click on Advanced, click on your SMTP server identity and click on Edit and uncheck to Apply Intelligent Message Filter. OK, OK, Apply. "

You might also want to check this article out: http://www.spambutcher.com/art1/022336/  .  Not sure if it works or not but since it is server-side, it would in effect disable all Junk Mail filtering without touching the reg.

Server is already disabled, its not exchange which is the problem, problem is the outlook client which when connected to exchange server does not do the junk mail filter, unless RPC over HTTP and / or cached mode, which we are using for a number of users and thats where our problem is
