How did you change the password?
When you changed the password was caps on or off? I have had several IT staff make this mistake.

I hope this helps.

Just found out ERD isn't available anymore.. This one, however, is: http://googlesystem.blogspot.com/2006/04/ebcd-system-recovery-boot-cd.html

I ve changed the password at Ctrl, Alt Delete and I entered the new password.
The network still working all workstations are and connecting to the server.  Its only the administrator account which is the log in to the server is not allowing me to enter the server.
Its a domain enviroment with exchange running as its a SBS 2003.
I need to find a way to enter the server.
basbosa, i provided a link to a cd iso you can burn, boot to the cd, and it will allow you to change the administrator password
Check out this site. I had to get a password off a Windows 2003 Server and it worked with no problems.

http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/

I hope this helps.

Will it be safe it wont messup the network.  Could be because of some services that stopping the new password to work, because I know the password I had entered, but it wont allowed it for some reason.
Ophcrack runs off the CD and it worked great for me. With not problems.

I still have not used the software because the network is fine no problems.  The only problem is that I cannt log in to the server itself.
I have one worry as well will the software messup the server at all, and what itheis method didnt work is there any other alternative beside reinstalling the whole thing.
The Ophcrack software runs on the CD and doesnt install anything on the computer it is running on. I had to use it several times and I had no problems.

I run both programs mentioned above and both show the old password and not the new one that I d changed.
Can you log in with the old password and user ID? If yes, then I would create a new administrator account/password.
