Getting Rid of a Comma in Crystal Expression

I would like to get rid of the first comma appearing in this string.  

It looks like   ,Math101, Math102, Math103

Here is the code:

Report Header area:
global stringvar STRING1;

Details Area:
global stringvar STRING1;

Footer (Display)
global stringvar STRING1;

****I have tried replace but it gets rid of all the comma's *****

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi mlmcc,

    I had problems with where I was putting the formula.  It should have been in the display area not the details.
