Printer Friendly page

I am working on a printer friendly page and the problem I am having is that it puts my website address in the bottom. Is there a way to avoid that.
Thanks

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Does your code put it there, or does the printer do it?

No.. The only way to print without the footprint is using PDF, DOC, etc;
HTML pages always will have the url at bottom, at least if you configure your browser.

It seems from this question that what you're asking for isn't doable:  http://www.experts-exchange.com/Web_Development/Web_Languages-Standards/Q_20687444.html

It sounds like it's a browser setting that must be controlled at the client (http://www.daniweb.com/forums/thread75518.html)
