user's can't reconnect to disconnected sessions

I'm not sure how to fix this. When I log into a terminal server via Remote Desktop. I can disconnect from the session and I can relog back into the session. When I log into the server using citrix the user's session is logged off. how can I make it so my users can reconnect to disconnected sessions?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

there are a few things with this.

1.  make sure that there is something to reconnect to.  once the user disconnects from the server is there still a session to reconnect to.  this can be configured in terminal services configuration there is a line for ica as well as rdp
2.  again in the terminal serivices configuration applet there are settings for how long a disconnected session stays active, and if a user can reconnect from the same or any workstation.
