Upon trying to install Peachtree Complete Accounting 2009, from the autorun on the installation CD, user gets the following error:
"Close all Windows applications. Unable to execute D: . . . . . . . . .setup.exe"

Navagating to that location and clicking the setup file gives the same result.

    Accepted Solution

Have you tried running any other setups from the cd drive?  Do you have permissions on this machine granting you rights to install?  If so have you tried disabling the firewall or antivirus software for installation.

After trying several PCs, I Finally got it to install.  I guess it needed to go on a pretty powerful PC, with current updates, etc.  However, it crashes whenever the accountant changes the date range for a report.  Buggy stuff! Any suggestions?
