Hi All,
I need to find a way to configure all workstations to use large icons for their desktop remotely. I didn't see there's a gpo setting for that, so I guess it has to be done through registry edit or script.
Any help is appreciated.

    Accepted Solution

    In the registry;

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics

    the key you are looking for is "Shell Icon Size" and increase the size of that value to make the icons bigger.

    Assisted Solution

    To apply the key, use either a logon (not startup) script regedit /s regfile
    Even better to be done through group policy preferences because you have no problem preventing that regfile getting imported over and over again.
