what happens when you try to start the information store. Can you paste the errors from event viewer .
do you have any rollup's installed or is it just exchange 2007 sp1?
i am in the process of doing the following. I went into the egistery and deletd all watermarks and actions, and now trying to run install so that I can get everything on there then try to get is started so I can uninstall and reinsatll I will post when this is completed thanks guys
The below comemnts are from the link thats been pasted can you try that.
Delete the exchange registry keys from HKLM\System\Current Control Set\Services. Set any remaining services in services console to manual.Reboot and run from the command line exsetup /mode:uninstall.
Worked for me

Uninstalling Exchange 2007 was a nightmare for me...I spent about 3 days trying to figure out how to do it with the program...

I eventually used ADSI edit tool to get rid of everything Exchange 2007 in my environment and started over. If you are not familiar with it, please read up on it. Its like regedit except its for your AD. Might be the answer you are looking for...at least it worked for me.

For more info: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc773354.aspx

Hope that helps.

everytime I open adsiedit it sits there with a hour glass over the domain? can i run this from anotehr server?
You can run it on any Win2k3 or WinXP computer on your domain. I think you just need to be logged in as the domain admin. I ran my ADSI edit from my utility server that I used for support tools.
cool man I will try that tonight what all do i need to remove before I can try the unistall again. Thanks man
ok i have adsiedit loaded what do I need to remove
You should do more research on this before just jumping in since it can really mess up your AD environment if you do the wrong things. Its like Registry editing. You dont need to uninstall once you clean it up with this tool. But like regedit,  one bad move and you can screw up everything...

Make sure you back up everything before starting.

Then I believe you can just remove everything in your Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)

I can't remember what I did exactly...but I think those were the only entries I removed. I destroyed my exchange servers before doing this and just reinstalled it new. Everything is working like I just had a fresh install now.

i realy am not just jumping in i dont know what else to do. Where is this exchnage administrative group kept?
use the search function in ADSIEDIT to find out the administrative group.
i connected to what I think is the right place but I do not see a search function how do you open that?
Thats was wild guess.
so how do i know where it is?
