User can no longer browse the DC after migration.

I migrated AD from an old server to a new server by way of replication. I then decommission the old server as a DC and it is now just a file server. After the migration the user cannot access the Dc, meaning, ping, or map drives. I can ping from the DC and RDP. It is getting Network info and can browse all other PCs including the file server. When trying to browse from  entire network I receive an error that the user does not have the rights. This user is also a domain Admin. The client OS is XP pro
