Hosting multiple mail/web servers servers on VMware

Can you host multiple mail and webservers on VMware? I ask this question because I would be interested in doing this but I dont understand how it can work. For example on each OS that is running on vmware there would be exchange and a web servers. I sort of getting confused how you would do this with IP addresing/NAT.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

yes you can.. dont think of it as vmware and virtual machines, think of each mail/webserver as a serparate machine (because that is how it thinks of itself), so yes, you need to have seperate IP's for each machine.. you can still do NAT etc from your central router no problems..

is that what you mean?
