Raid disk, hot spare?

I have 3 hard drives in this new server.  The server is not supported by a smart start cd so I have to set the thing up manually.   I am now setting up the raid and hot spare.  But im not familiar with the process.   I am currently in a create new array menu that I got to by hitting f8 during boot up.   So my first disk I went ahead and installed windows and partitioned the rest of the drive to use as file sharing.   Now I am trying to set up the raid.  Do I make the first 2 drives part of the raid disk and make the third one the hot spare?  or all three in the array and the last one also hot spare?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
