JavaScript Error Loading XML In Google Chrome

Experts, I am unable to load the following XML file via JavaScript for my web application. It loads in both IE and FireFox but not in Chrome. Any ideas?
function importXML()
{
    nav = document.getElementById("nav");

    if (document.implementation && document.implementation.createDocument)
    {
        xmlDoc = document.implementation.createDocument("", "", null);
        xmlDoc.onload = nav_create;
    }
    else if (window.ActiveXObject)
    {
        xmlDoc = new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLDOM");
        xmlDoc.onreadystatechange = function () {
                if (xmlDoc.readyState == 4) nav_create()
        };
    }
    else
    {
        alert('Your browser can\'t handle this script');
        return;
    }
    xmlDoc.load("AdministrationSiteMap.aspx");
}

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Thank you amx.

samtran0331 - thank you for your post. I was unaware that I was violating someone. It seems that experts post much for frequently on quests without any posts. On my other question, the "expert" posted a "solution" that was of no help. After he posted the "no help" response, no other experts touched the question. Thank you for your comment and I'll be sure to keep that in mind in the future.
