Vertical Text

I need to put vertical text on my site, so I'm using...

filter: flipv fliph;

to do that.  The text appears vertical in IE but not in Firefox.  I'm assuming Firefox doesn't recognize the flipv fliph command, though we all know what happens when we assume.  Is there a different command to allow vertical text to be seen vertically in Firefox and IE?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

YES -- the rotated text algorithm you are using uses IE-ONLY calls.  i.e. it works ONLY on IE.  At the time of writing, there are NO calls you can use to make non-IE browsers react the same -- i.e. they do not have built in calls for rotated text as does IE.   Maybe in later CSS3 versions, but not now, sorry.
