How to extract tables from PDF?

I have a PDF catalog that has tables with product name, description, and prices on them. Is there a way to extract tables from a PDF file (with many pages), and load them into an Excel or delimited text file? I'm trying to avoid typing the product information into Excel manually one-by-one. Any ideas?

Copy-paste should work if tab separated. Otherwise perhaps post file here for someone to do it with a little script if not to secret.

if you have acrobat, as opposed to just reader, you can select the table, then right click and choose 'copy as table'
