Apply new permissions to all existing active directory user objects

I granted a service account R/W permissions on a attribute to the user class. All newly created users have the service account added to the security tab of the user object, and I can see that the service account R/W permissions to the attribute. However, all the existing users do not have the permission set. How do I give a service account R/W permissions to a specific attribute for all existing users?
