AVG Installation Failed due to Memory Allocation

When Installing AVG 8.0 I get a Failed Installation message which reads:
Local machine: installation failed
          Installation:
Error: Action failed for file avgldx86.sys: starting service.......
              Memory allocation failed.

If anyone has any ideas for resolving this error it would be much appreciated. THANKS!!!

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hello A1techs, a couple of things...Did you have AVG installed previously (if you did, did you uninstall the old version first or do an upgrade). Also, I am assuming we are talking about the free edition?? Also, depending on where you downloaded it from you may have gotten a corrupt download (Even if it is a location you download from a lot). You might want to try to re download it. I hope this helps.
