Javascript dropdown dreamweaver - add child

I have a dropdown menu created in javascript (probably from fireworks). I am trying to edit the code manually to add child elements. Under an item called Sample, I would like to add 4 child items. Please see below. Please give some code ideas. Thanks!

<script language="JavaScript">
<!--
function mmLoadMenus() {
  if (window.mm_menu_1114083801_0) return;
  window.mm_menu_1114083801_0 = new Menu("root",537,16,"Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif",10,"#212163","#FFFFFF","#F2F2E4","#B0AE5E","left","middle",3,0,1000,-5,7,true,false,true,0,true,true);

  mm_menu_1114083801_0.addMenuItem("Questions&nbsp;and&nbsp;Answers","location='QA.asp'");
  mm_menu_1114083801_0.addMenuItem("Websites&nbsp;of&nbsp;Interest","location='Websites.asp'");
  mm_menu_1114083801_0.addMenuItem("Important&nbsp;Notice","location='Disclaimer.asp'");

mm_menu_1114083801_0.addMenuItem("Sample","window.open('SamplePolicy.pdf', '_blank');");
' ********************** insert here, 4 child items

   mm_menu_1114083801_0.addMenuItem("2008 Survey ","window.open('2008.pdf', '_blank');");
  mm_menu_1114083801_0.addMenuItem("Tax Forms","location='Forms.asp'");
   mm_menu_1114083801_0.fontWeight="bold";
   mm_menu_1114083801_0.hideOnMouseOut=true;
   mm_menu_1114083801_0.bgColor='#555555';
   mm_menu_1114083801_0.menuBorder=1;
   mm_menu_1114083801_0.menuLiteBgColor='#FFFFFF';
   mm_menu_1114083801_0.menuBorderBgColor='#777777';

mm_menu_1114083801_0.writeMenus();
} // mmLoadMenus()
//-->
</script>
<script language="JavaScript" src="mm_menu.js"></script>

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Can you not select the element in DW and edit it through the Behaviors panel?
