Windows Server Update Services and Novell

Is there a way to run Windows Server Update Services in a Novell environment, without Active Directory or Group Policy?

Hi

According to Microsoft, you can install WSUS 3.0 into a network without Active Directory.
This is a nice little guide here, it also lists WSUS as usable in a workgroup scenario, which your Novell install would appear to be, as its not controlled by AD.

It's even easier if you have ZENworks - then you can push WSUS policies without having to have AD, by virtue of adding the WSUS ADM to your zen group policies.

Where is the guide you are referring to.  We don't use ZENworks and don't have active directory, so this would be ideal.  Thanks.
