Admin console DNS error for RAD Webspehere Application Server

I have got RAD 6.0 and Websphere Application server 5.0 locally on my machine which is running fine. When I configure the same server in RAD, the server gets started without any issues but am not able to open Admin console, neither in the RAD nor locally in the browser. I am getting "Page cannot be displayed" DNS error.

I wanted to know how to resolve this issue??

It sounds like the URL that you are trying to use to access the admin console isn't quite right.
When you access it within RAD, are you seeing the Admin console in the built in browser?
Can you copy the complete address of the admin console URL from this browser?
What is the hostname portion of the URL?
Is it something like?

or is it using an IP address like this?

Given a complete URL for an active admin console that works with the internal browser in RAD,
you should be able to use an external browser to access this same page.

how do I close the close Question??
HonorGodSoftware EngineerCommented:
1. Click the link that indicates that a particular answer is the solution to the question.
2. If you feel that an answer was not provided, you can open another question in
the "General Community Support" zone, and indicate why you feel that the question
was unanswered, and request that it be closed, or closed and deleted.

If the question was unanswered, and you were able to resolve the problem yourself, it is best to provide the solution that worked for you, and then request that the question be closed, rather than deleted.  This helps the next person who might run into this issue, or have this question themselves.

I still am looking into the issue, its not resolved, the URL to access admin console for webspehere is

http://hostname:9090/admin, unless you have configured your websphere admin at a different port, "9090" is the default port for websphere admin. I guess I need to try this with the newer version (7.0) of RAD and then take it up from there. If I get a solution I will definitely put it up but that might take some more time, so am closing this and either would add comment in this question itself or start a new question and put the comments in there.
