Anyone succeeded in installing Lotus Notes 8.5 on Ubuntu 64bit AMD CPU?

Apparently, it will run on Intel but not AMD.   Does anyone know anything about what IBM supports?

It should work.  As far as I know 8.5 is now supported on Ubuntu and AMD should not be a problem.

Do you have the 64bit version of 8.5?

So there should not be a difference between the Intel and the AMD CPUs?  I have notes85_notes_linux_deb_prod.tar 448,320k with checksum 16EC583ED9203B603167AC9C0F1A8333
Is there a x64 build out there?

I just had a look on the IBM Partner world for IBM Lotus Notes 8.5.  Does not look like it has been released yet.  I think 8.5 is still in Beta.  That might be the reason it is not installing properly.

AMD should not be a problem.  I'm not sure if the 64bit is maybe the problem.  I'm no linux expert sorry.  You are trying to install the client right?

There is a build for 64bit for Windows.  I dunno if there are for Linux.

Sorry, I dunno enough about Linux to help you on the.  Hopefully there are other guys on this forum that can better assist
