I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I think you just need to uninstall it, delete the GM folder and remove any BDE entries as per the beginning f this doc:

You don't say whether you're running GoldMine Corporate Edition or GoldMine Standard Edition.

If Standard Edition...
  1. Go to Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs, and uninstall  GoldMine.
  2. Go to the GoldMine installation folder and delete it, along with any subfolders and files
  3. In the registry, search for and remove any entries relating to GoldMine or FrontRange
  4. Reboot
If Corporate Edition...
  1. Do all of the above, plus
  2. Remove the GoldMine sql database. You can do this through Microsoft SQL Enterprise Manager -- just right-click the goldmine database and choose Delete.
