Restore Timestamp info on files

Need to restore timestamp info to share drive docs. Here is what happended - upgraded server two months ago, moved share data over withput xcopy. Now we need to restore original  timestamp to all data that has not been modified since the move. We have the orignial server and backups from the move. So if the move was on 09/01/08 ever file that has that date needs to be restored with original file from backup without changing newer data. Thanks!

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You should be able to do this using Robocopy with the switches /E /COPY:T /DCOPY:T /XC.  Test it first with the /L switch to make sure the right files will be affected.

Be sure to use version XP026 of Robocopy which is included with Vista and can be also downloaded along with Robocopy GUI.  Earlier versions didn't handle folder timestamps correctly.
