I have already set the code for a cfwindow and disabled its visibility. It's name is "Confirmation". How do I make it visible withou a button or a link????

just call the same function you would call in the button or link from javascript outside of a function. So, if you use ColdFusion.Window.show() and the name of your window is for example, "myWindow2" then:

<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript">

      ColdFusion.Window.show('myWindow2')

</script>

just make sure the code is after the code for the window.. like, the bottom of the page

That's what I am doing but I cannot show the window Here is my code:
<body>
<cfajaximport tags="cfwindow">
<cfwindow name="Confirmation" title="Confirmation" center="true" width="300" height="150" modal="true" initshow="false"> We will respond to your message ASAP.<br />
  Thanks,<br />
</cfwindow>
<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript">
ColdFusion.Window.Show('Confirmation')
</script>
</body>

"show" should be in lowercase... ColdFusion.Window.show('Confirmation')...

if that doesn't work, I found a workaround I had to use on one server... create the window in javascript, as per code snippet:
<body>
<cfajaximport tags="cfwindow">

<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript">
ColdFusion.Window.create('Confirmation','Confirmation Message','',{ modal:true, closable:true, draggable:true, resizable:true, fixedcenter:true, width:300, height:150, shadow:true, callfromtag:true, minwidth:0, minheight:0, initshow:false});
document.getElementById('Confirmation_body').innerHTML = 'We will respond to your message ASAP.<br \/>  Thanks,<br \/>';

ColdFusion.Window.show('Confirmation');
</script>
</body>

Open in new window
