Need to download array manager or something? I have a RAID5 but no way to look at it.

I have a Dell PowerEdge 2600 with a RAID5 setup. It has a Dell PERC 4/Di RAID Controller. this particular server seems to have no utility at all for looking at the RAID. I think a drive is out because a light is blinking and that's what started this. I can't seem to easily download Array Manager from Dell. Any ideas on what to do with this?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can download the Dell OpenManage Array Manager software ISO from Dell.  It has the app you are looking for, here is the link;

Can I mix drive speeds in the same RAID if the drive sizes are the same?
Yes you can.  The raid will default to the slowest drive.

This was exactly what I needed to get my server up and running.

The link and subsequent download of Openmanage worked perfectly

Just be patient when installing openmanage

it does take more than a few minutes to go through the process
went to the link but it keeps saying "an unexpected error occured, please try blah blah dell download manger again."
