I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Try this...

Click Start->Run, type cmd and press ENTER

Type regsvr32 %systemroot%\system32\inetsrv\inetmgr.dll and press ENTER

This is what I get:
'Load library("c:\windows\system32\inetsvr\inetmgr.dll") failed - the specified module could not be found.'
The directory and file specified above exists and permissions are appropriate for that directory.

Try to unregister the DLL exixting in your PC and reresister the dll once again and then give a try...

Later if the above does not work..

Please try to download the DLL and re-register the dll once again...

Make sure you tke  IIS metabase file backup somewere and also backup the metabase schema file too....

http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files_new.php/dllfiles/I/inetmgr.dll/6.0.2600.2180/download.html

I got the dll to register with Dependancy Walker.
I ran DW against the regsvr32.exe and listed inetmgr.dll as a program argument.
The file registered fine and the mmc opens and functions ok..
