search text and store fields in variable

I am working on a  ksh script. I want to search a pipe delimited text file for env3 and the following variables shud be initialized after searching env3
var_env=env3
var_app=app3
var_dbhost=dbhost3
var_dbusr=dbusr3
var_apphost=apphost3
var_appusr=appusr3

Text File is attached with..
In other words i am searching for a record and I want the fields to be stored in separate variables for the searched record.
