Jquery FCK disable input

I am using the latest versions of Jquery with FCK
http://www.fyneworks.com/jquery/FCKEditor/

I cannot figure out how to disable or prevent input. I want the input to display as it does in FCK, with out the ability to change content or use controls. The same as disabling a normal html input.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Never used FCK with jquery but this works normally so it might work with your instance:
var oEditor = FCKeditorAPI.GetInstance('FCKeditor1');
oEditor.EditorDocument.body.disabled=true;
