How to convert javascript array to coldfusion array?

How to get the contents of a javscript array into acoldfusion array? I am coding in Coldfusion MX7.0 and Javascript. My problem is that i am unable to get the values of a javascript array into a coldfusion array. I have a javascript array containing some values. Now i want to insert the values present in this javascript array into the database through a Insert query (within a <cfquery> tag).

Put your javascript array into a url or form variable and use that medium to pass it to CF.

Here is a small article to describe more..

You could change the array to a delimited list  [ test1,test2,test3, ] and then assign it to a variable in a form and pass it to the next page.

myList=' test1,test2,test3,';
document.<yourformname>.<yourformvariable>.value=myList;
