Update SQL "my tekst" := "My tekst"

Hi,

Database = MS Access
I want to update a field based on a second field. In the updated field the first character of the string must be changed to UpperCase.

Field1= my tekst
Field2= My tekst
Update Mytabel set Field2 = UppercaseFirstChar(Field1)

Can anybody give me an example on how to do this?

Hello Delphiwizard,

UPDATE MyTable
SET FIELD2 = UCASE(LEFT(FIELD1),1)

Will this copy the whole string from Field1 into Field2 or only the 1st character?

This is the whole SQL statement.
UPDATE Relaties SET Adressering = UCase(LEFT(TAVvoorBrief,1)) & MID(TAVvoorBrief,2,199);
