VMware connecting to VM Machine

Dan560 asked
Last Modified: 2012-05-05
I have recentley been asking a few questions on here about VMware server. I am still trying to familirise myself with the software.
Basically I have two Virtual machines running. Both virtual operating systems work fine, my problem is this - both machines can connect to internet and can ping my LAN that is on a seperate subnet....for example VMnet NAT has issued a (something like that)subnet  to the virtual machine...and it can ping a completley seperate subnet - my lan....this is great but from my LAN I cannot ping the virtual machines! How can make this happen because one of my aims is to have a port forwarding web/email access rule to the virtual machines..
Can anyone help?
