Example of ClickOnce Technology

In order to understand the function and limitations of the click-once technology, I am trying to build a simple C# project and implement the click-once update functionality in a local client-server environment.  I need help to define the steps (in detail) to creating a test project or, if possible, to find some existing sample projects that would get me up and running quickly.  So my question is to find either a very clear set of instruction how to build my own test project, or find some sample project, then publish the updates.
